Cedric Grolet is one of – if not THE – most famous pastry chef of our generation. Incredibly talented, he’s reached new audiences through social media and opened pastry shops in Paris, St. Tropez, London and Singapore. In this post, you’ll find detailed information on everything you need to know to visit his flagship location at Le Meurice in Paris.
Cedric Grolet Le Meurice Location
The Le Meurice location is located at Le Meurice Hotel, where Grolet serves as the executive pastry chef. This 5-star hotel can be found in Paris’ 1st arrondissement, steps from Place Vendome, the Tuileries Garden and the Louvre.
In 2018, Grolet expanded his relationship with Le Meurice, opening a pâtisserie at Le Meurice serving imaginative French pastries. Here, you’ll find reinvented French creations including Grolet’s “Fruits” series, as well as more traditional pastries such as Madeleines and sugar brioche.

Cedric Grolet Le Meurice hours – and which days it’s closed
The Le Meurice location is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. So, don’t visit on a Monday or Tuesday as they will be closed!
Be prepared to wait…
Cedric Grolet is very popular right now and attracts fans/visitors from around the world. Be prepared to wait for 45 minutes or longer. However, the staff is excellent: they keep the line moving along and often interact with visitors which helps the time go by a little more quickly.
Get there early if possible
While getting there early might not help with the wait times, it WILL help ensure a better selection. All items are available until they sell out, so try to visit before the options become more limited.
Can I order ahead?
Yes but – with a caveat. You can order from a limited menu several days in advance. Orders placed before 3pm will be ready in 48 hours minimum. Orders placed after 3pm on any given day will be ready in 72 hours minimum.
So, if you’re reading this several days before you plan to visit – yes, order online and skip to a shorter line upon arrival! You can order online here.

Grolet has also opened up a coffee shop, Cedric Grolet Cafe, on Rue Danielle Casanova, also near the Palais Garnier.
